Kforce has a client that is seeking an Epic ASAP Analyst in New York, NY.
Summary:
We are seeking a certified Epic ASAP Analyst with 4-5+ years of senior-level experience supporting large-scale Epic implementations. This role is responsible for the assessment, design, build, testing, and implementation of clinical systems across the organization. The ideal candidate can work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate complex clinical and business needs into effective system solutions. This position is approximately 80% remote/up to 20% on-site, with the ability to report on-site within 48 hours.
Responsibilities:
* Epic ASAP Analyst will build, test, and implement Epic ASAP and related clinical modules per project plans
* Analyze and document business and clinical requirements;
Develop functional and technical specifications
* Interview stakeholders and end users to identify needs and translate them into actionable system requirements
* Create workflow models, data mappings, interface requirements, and reporting needs
* Partner with project managers to manage timelines, risks, and deliverables
* Lead and facilitate work groups, project meetings, testing, and deployment activities
* As an Epic ASAP Analyst, you will support application issues, troubleshoot defects, and assist end users
* Document test plans, release notes, training guides, and change-control updates
* Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on process improvements
* Support full-life-cycle project activities and participate in special initiatives
* Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
* Epic ASAP Certification required;
Additional Epic module certifications preferred
* 4-5+ years in a senior Epic implementation or support role within a large healthcare organization
* 2-5 years of experience with Epic EMR or other clinical applications
* Experience supporting one or more Epic modules (examples: Inpatient, Stork, Beacon, OpTime, Radiant, Cupid, Willow, Ambulatory, MyChart, Home Health, etc.)
* Ability to independently gather requirements, lead meetings, manage documentation, and oversee testing
* Clinical background preferred
* Experience with at least two full-life-cycle Epic implementations preferred
