Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support enterprise-level technology initiatives. This role requires strong leadership across people, programs, projects, and budgets, along with the ability to manage complex deployments, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery within established timelines. The ideal candidate will bring a strong customer-service mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage personnel, program, project, and budget development activities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs
  • Identify and secure appropriate resources to achieve project milestones and deliverables
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful deployment within established schedules
  • Accurately document project activities, including deployment checklists, release forms, asset data, work logs, and activity summaries in designated systems
  • Track project progress and maintain detailed records to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for end-user devices as needed
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity, workstation hardware/software, and application-related issues
  • Adhere to defined deployment schedules and escalate issues that exceed scope for resolution
  • Ensure compliance with established IT policies, procedures, standards, and operational guidelines
  • Maintain inventory records, process warranty returns, and manage assigned equipment and parts
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused support during project implementations
  • Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, schedule activities, and maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Travel to multiple facilities within the assigned geographic area as required
  • Support after-hours work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, when necessary
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering demand management, portfolio oversight, and reporting solutions within an IT PMO or governance environment
  • Strong background in financial management, program and project management, SLAs, incident reporting, change management, and risk analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple direct reports, and act as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational environments and manage competing priorities

Technical & Domain Experience
  • Budget and portfolio management
  • IT governance, control, risk, and audit frameworks (e.g., COBIT)
  • Agile project management methodologies
  • IT shared services or enterprise technology environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, and Share Point
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated industries preferred
Education
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, or a related field with relevant managerial experience
    OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with additional years of progressive managerial and project leadership experience
    OR
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in IT program and project management
