Product Designer

Description

A rapidly growing sports organization is building a best-in-class direct-to-consumer digital experience across web and native apps. With a global fan base, 54 athletes, and a fast-paced 14-event season, the team is committed to delivering intelligent, real-time, and highly engaging digital products.

This role is ideal for a craft-focused Senior Product Designer who excels in UX, interaction design, visual design, and end-to-end execution. You will design features used weekly by fans-live leaderboards, team stories, rich stats, video experiences, and second-screen interactions. The team values makers over managers, and is looking for a hands-on designer who raises the quality bar and thrives in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

· Own end-to-end design for high-impact product areas across web and mobile-from concept through launch.

· Design live, data-rich digital experiences for events, teams, streams, and second-screen interactions.

· Create scalable storytelling, video, stats, and interactive design patterns used across teams, events, and sponsors.

· Sketch, prototype, and test concepts at multiple fidelities; use motion to communicate intent.

· Work closely with product managers to frame problems, iterate quickly, and refine solutions.

· Contribute to the design system, token strategy, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA).

· Collaborate with engineering, content, broadcast, data teams, and external creative partners.

· Maintain a high level of craft while balancing speed and execution.

· Help shape design culture through critique, process refinement, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

· Proven track record shipping complex, high-quality digital products (portfolio required).

· Expertise designing across multiple surfaces: desktop, mobile, and emerging experiences.

· Strong interaction and visual design skills with meticulous attention to detail.

· Ability to balance speed vs. precision and know when to optimize for each.

· End-to-end product thinking-from systems-level reasoning to pixel-level refinement.

· Ability to prototype in Figma and additional tools (e.g., Framer, Lovable, v0, or code).

· Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate decisions clearly.

· Operates with autonomy, ownership, and self-direction.
