Senior Business Analyst

Description

A fast-growing, VC-backed Fintech is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join its team. This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor and help shape the future of decentralized financial infrastructure. This role is ideal for a structured, detail-oriented consultant or implementation specialist who loves being in the trenches of functional delivery. You'll partner closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to design workflows, define requirements, operationalize processes, and serve as the connective tissue across the organization.

Responsibilities will include:

· Lead requirements gathering via workshops, user interviews, and structured analysis

· Develop crisp functional specifications, workflows, business rules, and front-end behavior docs

· Map as-is/to-be processes and run gap analyses to improve efficiency and user experience

· Facilitate client workshops and translate insights into requirements, decision logs, and product direction

· Own UAT strategies, test cases, defect triage, and release readiness validation

· Create training materials and support both internal and client onboarding

· Drive alignment with product, engineering, UX, QA, and client-facing teams

· Maintain project plans, risks, timelines, and cross-functional communication

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

· 3+ years in Big 4 Advisory or similar

· Strong foundation in requirements gathering, process design, analysis, and documentation

· Confident communicator with strong client-facing presence; able to lead workshops independently

· Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Jira, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart

· A fast learner who thrives in ambiguity, operates autonomously, and wants to influence product direction
