Senior Engagement Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders in the asset management and investment space.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their focus areas and ensuring their satisfaction.
Conduct periodic meetings with clients to review project progress, address concerns, and identify new opportunities.

Project and Team Leadership:

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data and analytics projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and are completed on time and within budget.
Build and lead large analytics teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to junior team members.

Strategic Consulting:

Provide strategic consultation to clients on data and analytics initiatives, helping them leverage data to drive business decisions and improve performance.
Develop and execute multi-year analytics roadmap catering to short-term and long-term needs of the client.

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the asset management space. Develop proposals, pitch decks, and respond to RFPs.
Actively contribute to the topline growth within the Banking and Capital Markets vertical.

Thought Leadership:

Stay updated on industry trends, AI applications, emerging technologies, and best practices in asset management and data analytics.
Contribute to the firm's knowledge base by publishing white papers, articles, and case studies.

Required Skills and Experience:

Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with about 10+ years experience of managing and mentoring large analytics team located globally (comprising data science managers, data scientists, analysts, and engineers).
Deep experience in and understanding of the asset management and investment industry, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Familiarity with the asset management processes, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements; and the role of data/analytics across such functions.
Expertise in machine learning and AI concepts; and their applications in investments industry.
Proficiency in data analytics and BI tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with implementing data management, data governance, and data integration solutions in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
Proven ability to lead and manage complex consulting projects from inception to completion.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong presentation and story-telling skills, with experience presenting to C-suite executives and stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Experience in business development, including client pitching and RFP response writing.
Bachelors degree in finance, business, data science, mathematics or a related field (Masters degree or MBA preferred).
