Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Architect with strong Data Architecture expertise to support an in‑flight initiative focused on building a pricing application. This role will provide immediate capacity to an existing team of six platform developers, performing a full architectural review of the current solution and optimizing an established design spanning Power Platform (front end) and Databricks/Snowflake (backend).

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across Power Apps, Power Automate, and modern data engineering and is comfortable stepping into a partially built solution to strengthen quality, stability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural & Technical Leadership

* Perform a full end‑to‑end architectural review of the existing pricing application across Power Platform, Databricks, and Snowflake.

* Optimize the already-defined architecture, identifying gaps, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.

* Provide expert guidance on best practices for Power Platform, data modeling, integration design, and automation patterns.

Development & Optimization

* Enhance and optimize Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and integrations with Databricks and Snowflake.

* Implement improvements to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of the pricing solution.

* Review and refine backend data pipelines, SQL logic, and data transformations as needed.

Quality Engineering & Delivery Support

* Build and execute end‑to‑end testing strategies, including functional, integration, and regression testing.

* Perform bug resolution and troubleshoot issues across both front-end and back-end layers.

* Collaborate with the existing team of six developers to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with solution architecture.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

* Work closely with product owners, developers, and data engineers to validate technical decisions.

* Communicate architectural recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

* Support Agile ceremonies and sprint planning as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

* Power Automate (expert level)

* Hands-on experience building and optimizing Power Apps

* Experience managing and troubleshooting Power Platform flows

* Strong understanding of Databricks and Snowflake data architecture

* Ability to conduct thorough architectural reviews and produce actionable recommendations

* Strong SQL skills for debugging, optimization, and backend analysis

* Experience working on mid‑to‑large scale applications within the Power Platform ecosystem

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills

* Experience building custom connectors or plug-ins in C#

* Agile delivery experience

* Power BI (report development or model optimization)

* Background in pricing, financial modeling, or workflow-driven applications
