Position: People Analyst II
The People Analytics Team at Datadog uses data to help our growing organization make better people decisions. As a People Analyst, you'll partner with People and business leadership to deliver analyses, dashboards, and insights that shape how we hire, develop, retain, and support Datadogs across the world.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture-the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You'll Do:

* Proactively identify and predict trends, patterns, and drivers of people outcomes such as attrition, career growth, leadership effectiveness, and performance

* Partner with People Business Partners, Recruiting, and senior leadership to conduct custom, scoped analyses, translating ambiguous business questions into structured analyses to answer priority workforce questions

* Conduct research studies and analyses to support programmatic decision making and key initiatives across the employee lifecycle

* Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and recurring metrics readouts (e.g., hiring funnel, performance, movement, retention, sentiment, org design)

* Maintain high standards of data quality, privacy, and governance when working with sensitive employee information

Who You Are:

* 2-5+ years of experience in people analytics, business analytics, or a related quantitative role

* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Google Sheets, and experience working with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Metabase, Looker); proficiency in Python a plus

* Familiarity with people systems and data sources (e.g., ATS, HRIS, LMS, Survey Platforms), as well as metrics throughout the employee lifecycle

* Strong communicator able to distill complex data into compelling insights for business and People teams

* A naturally curious, analytical mindset with a drive to uncover the "why" behind the data

* Ability to maintain privacy, maturity and discretion while handling sensitive data

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

* Generous and competitive global benefits

* New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan

* Continuous career development and pathing opportunities

* Product training to develop an in-depth understanding of our product and space

* Best in breed onboarding

* Internal mentor and buddy program cross-departmentally

* Friendly and inclusive workplace culture

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
