Technical Project Manager; Native Mobile

Position: Technical Project Manager (Native Mobile)
Our sports industry client is seeking a temporary/contract Technical Project Manager to support native mobile development with a strong focus on iOS. This role is responsible for driving consistent, on-time delivery across Product and Engineering teams through effective release management, execution coordination and clear communication. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Design partners to plan releases, manage risks and ensure stakeholders have clear visibility into what is being delivered and when.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys bringing structure and clarity to complex mobile initiatives.

• This is a hybrid role in Midtown Manhattan.
• Pay Rate: $70.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage mobile product and engineering releases to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
• Plan, track and oversee initiatives, identifying risks, dependencies and constraints early
• Lead team ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning and retrospectives
• Own release communications, ensuring timelines, scope changes and updates are clearly shared
• Provide clear, concise status updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Support planning, sequencing and readiness for product launches
• Help teams navigate trade-offs between scope, quality and timing
• Maintain transparency and efficiency while minimizing unnecessary process overhead
• Drive continuous improvements in delivery and release practices

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager or Program Manager in a software-focused organization
• Experience working in fast-paced, scaling environments
• Strong understanding of mobile app development and release processes, including app store submissions
• Demonstrated ability to manage releases, identify blockers and communicate effectively across teams
• Comfort presenting delivery updates to leadership and large, cross-functional audiences
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity and provide clarity without heavy direction
