IT Consultant, Systems Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled People Soft FSCM Technical Consultant to support, enhance, and optimize People Soft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) applications in a government environment. The ideal candidate should have expertise in People Soft technical development, integration, and customization, ensuring compliance with government standards and security policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and enhance People Soft FSCM modules (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Asset Management, etc.).
Work on People Tools (App Engine, People Code, Integration Broker, Component Interface, BI Publisher, etc.).
Perform data migration, upgrades, and patches using People Soft Update Manager (PUM).
Develop and maintain interfaces, reports, and workflows integrating People Soft with external government systems.
Ensure compliance with government security, audit, and regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance tuning, and system enhancements.
Collaborate with functional teams, end-users, and stakeholders to ensure system efficiency.
Provide documentation, training, and technical support.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in People Soft FSCM technical development.
Strong knowledge of People Tools, People Code, Application Engine, Integration Broker.
Experience in SQL, SQR, PS Query, BI Publisher, XML Publisher.
Familiarity with public sector financial processes and regulations.
Experience with People Soft upgrades, migrations, and PUM tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with People Soft Fluid UI and REST/SOAP web services.
Knowledge of Federal/State financial regulations.
Prior experience in a government or public sector project.
