Salesforce Architect – NYC Health + Hospitals

We are seeking a Salesforce Architect to lead the adaptation and utilization of Salesforce across our organization, supporting business operations and overseeing the performance of the Salesforce Development team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the overall Salesforce architecture, application design and development of the system.
• Possess a deep understanding of Salesforce products, as well as the customization and development possibilities.
• Architect solutions on Salesforce that are secure, scalable, and meet business requirements.
• Ensure solutions and all customizations to the platform meet best practices.
• Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across the entire product.
• Knowledgeable on all Salesforce offerings:
  Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, , etc.
• Design documentation and best practice methodologies.
• Create & deliver timely CRM and workflow solutions using Salesforce/Apex, Visualforce, Omni Studio (formerly Vlocity), and J2EE technologies.
• Have deep understanding of Salesforce Health Cloud and Vlocity Healthcare Industry.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce integration using Mule Soft.
• Oversee delivery of the architect solution.
• Organize the process for successful project delivery to end users.
• Plan and manage application deployment using Gearset and Azure CI/CD pipeline.
• Review Salesforce capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested programs.
• Study existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develop new systems to improve production or workflow.
• Oversee programming development and testing of interfaces according to specifications.
• Help with ongoing application maintenance.
• Mentor team members on best practices and new technology needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis and design of information systems, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Minimum Salesforce

  Advanced Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, Omni Studio Consultant.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to observe trends and suggest improvements.
• Ability to tailor communication to multiple audiences at all levels.
• Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing to enable stakeholder decision‑making.
• Strategic approach to solution design with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans.
• Experience in full‑cycle programming and deployment of Salesforce and Omni Studio solutions across environments.

Professional Competencies

• Operational and technical experience with development tools: , C#, Web Services, REST API, Angular (or similar JavaScript frameworks), Visual Studio, LINQ, Regular Expressions, XML, JSON.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dev Ops framework, Content Versioning, Agile methodology.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to understand business needs and learn new software tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; understanding of policies and procedures.
