• Weneed a Product Manager
  to help drive key services forward.
• The Client Product Manager oversees select products for the Client programteam.
• The Product Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of new digital applications and services on client.
• Theywill act as product manager for multi-disciplinary product teams through the product lifecycle and into continuous delivery and support.
• Theywill line manage, coach and mentor others in the team, including a Product Management Fellow.
• This Product Manager will be entrusted to hold the City’s best interests firstand foremost when collaborating and working with system implementation vendors and thus will be expected to drive strategy for the Client program, in consultation with the Associate Commissioner for Product Management.

• Lead product strategy and definition by understanding and identifying product users, framing the problem, and synthesizing research from all discipline sand evaluating current state experiences
• Define success outcomes and KPI based on user-driven metrics that prove value toNew Yorkers
• Understand,synthesize and write detailed requirements focused on filling the needs ofNew Yorkers
• Participate in the agile delivery of digital applications by multiple workstream teams
• Prioritize the delivery of work backlogs from inception to delivery based on evidence from user research, analytics and stakeholder goals
• Participate in relevant team ceremonies across the program in line with agile best practices
• Communicate the expected strategic outcomes and improve problem solving with the teams
• Coordinate and take part in user research regularly for all digital products you lead
• Manage external technology and delivery partners; work to get best value from our digital, data and technology partnerships
• Managethe product roadmap and other key product management deliverables,including creating and updating OKRs and KPIs, and establishing useful reports to track them
• Bethe point person, work closely with stakeholders, understand the business goals, and be ready to present and provide status

• A bachelor’s degree
  (or equivalent) in computer science,engineering, product design or related field
• Atleast 8 years of previous experience in software and web development
• 4+years proven success leading products from inception to launch into continuous improvement
• Excellent writing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage cross functional teams
• Abilityto work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete features
• Asolid background in modern digital technology and trends
• Experience in an Agile delivery environment
• Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
• Beopen to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
