Job Title: Project Manager
Job Summary: Next Generation, Inc. (NGI), an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and execute all aspects of technology projects in one or more specialties, including systems/business analysis, application development and implementation, PC/LAN support, or technical writing. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a sound understanding of technical environments, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Job Requirements:- Manage and execute all aspects of assigned technology projects from initiation through completion.
- Lead projects in Systems/Business Analysis.
- Lead projects in Development and Implementation of Applications in a Networked PC Environment.
- Lead projects in PC/LAN Support.
- Lead projects in Technical Writing.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Oversee project scheduling, implementation, and evaluation activities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while managing scope and change control.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams and user communities to ensure project alignment with business goals.
- Prepare status reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in one or more technical specialties listed above.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager (PMP certification desirable).
- Strong understanding of technical issues and systems environments.
- Proven experience in creating comprehensive project plans and managing full project life cycles.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and scheduling skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with both user communities and technical staff.
Skills:
- PMP or other recognized project management certification.
- Experience managing projects in both agile and waterfall environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure.
Competitive Hourly rate range based on experience of approximately $75-$85 an hour USD
