We are seeking a talented Snowflake Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our data-driven initiatives. As a Snowflake Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Snowflake data warehouses and data lakes, managing data integration processes, and ensuring the optimization and quality of data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:
Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouses and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics needs.

Data Integration:
Integrate and manage data from various sources using Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory.

Data Pipelines:
Implement and maintain data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow and transformation across systems.

Quality & Metadata Management:
Develop and enforce data quality and metadata management standards.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Optimization:
Optimize and tune Snowflake environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure reliability and accuracy.

Stay Updated:
Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in Snowflake, Azure, and data management.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7+ years of post-graduate experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and/or Data Warehousing.

5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as SQL, Python, PySpark, Spark

QL, or Scala.

2+ years of experience as a Snowflake Cloud Developer, with strong expertise in Snowflake including data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.

2+ years of experience with Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory.

2+ years of experience with Metadata management, Data Marts, and data quality principles.

2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, using Git Lab and automation processes for code deployment.

Strong experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other cloud platforms or data management tools.

Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics or other cloud data warehouse services.

Certifications (if any):

Snowflake Certification (e.g., Snowflake Data Engineer or Architect).
