• Execute the appropriate upgrade scripts, perform the necessary system configuration, and create/retrofit existing code, web services, interfaces and reports to upgrade the current agency's Actives and Retirees to a newer version of the platform.
• Installation, maintenance, and configuration of People Soft, People Tools, and associated Middleware infrastructure. Tasks will include supporting the infrastructure of critical Citywide applications including agency and related applications.
• Works closely with Technical Lead and project teams to coordinate upgrade work and be responsible for completion of all the upgrade activities within the project timelines with competing priorities.

• Must have a minimum of Ten (10) years’ experience in working with multiple versions of People Soft and People Tools across HCM modules.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) who has performed multiple People Soft and People Tools upgrades and patch installations using Change Assistant and People Soft Update Manager (PUM).
• Working experience and understanding of People Soft HCM applications (v 9.2 PUM 39+ with fluid technology) and People Soft Tools (v 8.59+).
• Experience in administration of associated middleware products like, Oracle Web Logic, People Soft App Designer, Oracle SQL, etc.
• Experience working with different lines of businesses to fully understand the customizations made to the environment, and the impact to project timeline.
• Responsible for leading and overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle Peoplesoft security products.
• Responsible for driving the evolution of our Peoplesoft security infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective security, identity, and access management solutions.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end design, development, testing, and implementation of the Peoplesoft security infrastructure, adhering to architectural and security best practices.
• Has Strong knowledge of Server virtualization, People Soft debugging, People Soft tuning.
• Has Strong Knowledge of People Soft with Oracle RAC Architecture integration and configuration.
• Has Strong Knowledge of PS and PT on UNIX, with AIX preferred.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet project deadlines.
• Must be self‑motivated and work well with other groups.
• Excellent Communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

• Experience working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementations.
• Experience working within a matrix environment.
• Certified in People Soft Upgrade Administration.
• CA Tool & PUM.
• Shell, SQL, scripting.
• Experience working with New York City Automated Personnel System (NYCAPS) is preferred.

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or in a Technical/Business Discipline is required.
