Service Now Senior Consultant – IT and Operational Technology (OT) Asset Management
Location: Anywhere in the United States

OpportunityYou’ll lead Service Now Transformation teams in a rapidly growing area of the business. It’s a client‑visible role with opportunities to showcase leadership, develop your team, and establish new client relationships. Your contributions will shape your consulting and team‑leadership career.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on developing interfaces across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
- Create software components and services that integrate seamlessly with upstream and downstream systems to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring final product meets their needs.
- Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.
- Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications supporting business objectives.
- Manage and mentor a multi‑disciplinary team of 3–5 resources, including offshore consultants, developers, and testers.
- Lead client process and design sessions, facilitate requirements workshops, and provide industry‑leading practice expertise for Service Now IT/OT Asset Management implementations.
- Analyze IT/OT Asset Management people, process, and technology capabilities to provide recommendations and strategic insights.
- Advise on connectivity of the CMDB and IT Operations Management (ITOM) to ITSM processes.
- Support waterfall and agile delivery models, including planning, status reporting, budgeting, and risk/issue logs.
- Create high‑quality deliverables and project artifacts.
Regular travel may be required to meet with clients.
Skills and Attributes for Success- Act as a workstream lead across all aspects of Service Now IT/OT Asset Management projects.
- Experience guiding and mentoring cross‑functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of Service Now processes and ability to recommend best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to travel to support client needs.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Typically 2–4 years of relevant Service Now IT/OT Asset Management project experience.
- Service Now Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Minimum of 2 of the following certifications:
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Hardware Asset Management
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations
- 3+ years of Big 4 or equivalent consulting experience.
- Excellent soft skills (communication, adaptability, problem solving, teamwork, relationship building, dependability, organization).
- Experience leading teams and supervising others.
- A valid driver’s license in the U.S.
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response
- Experience with Service Now AI solutions (Now Assist, Agentic, AI Control Tower).
- Performance analytics and reporting experience – certifications are a plus.
