Overview

Associate Director, Paid Media
- W2 hourly Freelance
. Hybrid Schedule. The role is to assist in delivering paid media campaigns for our clients. The Associate Director, Paid Media
- W2 hourly Freelance is responsible for creating and maintaining media campaigns for our clients across all media channels (Paid Search, Social, Display, Video, Native & More). The role is dedicated to a specific client(s) to fulfill media operation excellence with VML’s approach to digital media.

Responsibilities
  • Daily campaign check ins and ensure that all required campaigns are live/paused/ended
  • Digital platforms spend and pacing management; re-allocating unspent dollars based on calculations, performance, and business objectives.
  • Develop Platform Trafficking Sheet by interpreting requirements brief within the parameters of specific platform, campaign, and objective
  • Provide recommendations to analytics team and Media strategist for changes within bid strategies, audiences, and creatives.
  • Upload/edit digital campaigns within Digital Media Platforms (Meta Business Manager, DV360, Google Ads, Linked

    IN & More).
  • Utilize and understand large data dumps to upload/change/ create campaigns through bulk processes
  • Navigate through all digital platforms required to service a client
  • Identify platform optimization needs and work with Media Strategists and/or Media Director to level-set performance
  • Interpretation and execution of media optimization roadmaps across channels, independently from direct report.
  • Assists with training and onboarding of Associate Connections Manager
  • Passing off trafficking requirements to offshore Ad Ops team
Qualifications
  • 4 – 6+ years professional work experience, Agency Experience preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years paid media experience
  • Specific understanding of digital media buying, trafficking, and pacing across Paid Search, Programmatic, and Paid Social channels
  • Strong mathematical reasoning skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Strong self-management and time management skills
  • Professional and Proactive Communication skills
