NYC Health + Hospitals (Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center) is a premier acute care hospital located in Downtown Bronx, New York. Base pay range: $62,861.00/yr – $67,788.00/yr. Pay is based on skills and experience.

• Analyze and document business requirements and processes; communicate requirements to technical personnel via basic conceptual data models, process models, flowcharts, and technical specifications.
• Interview end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors to assess business and clinical needs; create business, functional, and technical requirements documents.
• Convert gathered information into specific details including data sources, user types, interface components, navigation needs, reporting needs, and administrative system requirements.
• Define external interfaces, constraints, quality issues, and other non‑functional requirements.
• Provide the project management team with identified risks, concerns, and ambiguities discovered during requirements gathering; assist in developing solutions.
• Partner with project managers to complete requirements documentation in accordance with project schedules.
• Plan, organize, facilitate, and lead meetings and work groups; oversee and execute follow‑up activities.
• Ensure software development teams account for all defined technical requirements in coordination with the quality assurance team; confirm compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
• Document changes to baseline requirements through the standard change control process; produce software test plans, technical requirements, release notes, user training guidelines, and other materials.
• Plan, coordinate, and support unit acceptance testing and subsequent deployments in coordination with other team leaders.
• Perform end‑user and application support functions, including problem resolution and application defect handling; provide systems and application training.
• Develop and execute project presentations.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Provide training to and mentor junior clinical business analysts or other project team members; manage and evaluate work products for assigned team members.
• Participate in developing departmental training initiatives.
• Interview junior clinical business analysts or other project team members.

• A master’s degree or advanced clinical degree from an accredited college or university; or
• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience gathering and documenting business, clinical, and/or functional requirements for software applications in a relevant clinical or healthcare setting.
• A satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience.
• Specialty certification(s) issued by a nationally recognized program may be credited on a month‑to‑month basis toward the required work experience for a total of one (1) year.
