Senior Database Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Database Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This position requires a deep understanding of database architecture, cloud computing, and data management.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable database solutions.
• Manage and optimize Postgre
  
  SQL and SQL Server databases for performance and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain cloud-based database solutions, primarily on AWS.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate database technology within our infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and guidance on database design and architecture.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in database technology.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Database Engineer or a similar role.
• Strong experience with Postgre
  
  SQL and SQL Server.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud services related to database management.
• In-depth understanding of SQL and database programming.
• Experience with database design, tuning, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with data security, backup, and recovery methods.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Must be locally located and comfortable working a 3 days in office hybrid model and 2 days remote
  .

Preferred

Skills:

• Certifications in Postgre
  
  SQL, SQL Server, or AWS.
• Experience with other database technologies and No
  
  SQL databases.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
