You will act as an advisor, using market analysis and industry research to inform sourcing strategies that enable future capability building and influence stakeholders to act proactively regarding their current/future talent mix and talent market availability. This role will be based at our corporate office in NYC and will report to the Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition for Van Cleef & Arpels.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively build robust talent pipelines for future vacancies by utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), social media, job boards, and field recruitment, with consistent outreach to passive candidates.
* Understand and effectively communicate labor market trends, regional compensation benchmarks, and talent availability.
* Identify and recommend innovative recruitment initiatives, best practices, and digital enhancements.
* Lead and direct active sourcing and recruitment efforts for qualified candidates, leveraging various search tools, processes, and strategies.
* Build proactive talent pipelines by developing sourcing strategies that target critical, high-level talent in highly competitive and challenging markets.
* Proactively source passive candidates using advanced search techniques, including Boolean search on resume databases, ATS, and Linked In.
* Serve as a Sourcing expert, leveraging talent market intelligence (e.g., Linked In Insights) and historical data (e.g., ATS candidate fill data) to provide direct recommendations to business leaders, Recruiters, and Business HR.
* Develop deep expertise and pursue continuous learning within the focus area, enabling detailed understanding and discussion of functions, culture, and role responsibilities.
* Provide updates and comprehensive reporting on critical roles and sourcing activities to stakeholders.
* Develop strong partnerships with the Talent Acquisition team and candidates to build a qualified candidate bench that meets current and anticipated business needs.
Qualifications:
* You are a people-magnet and expert communicator!
* You are enthusiastic and passionate about luxury retail - its history, heritage and craftsmanship.
* Recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment including prioritizing and leading multiple searches simultaneously
* 2 or more years [YY2.1]of experience in retail recruitment at the boutique and corporate levels;
Field experience with an emphasis on high-volume recruitment of retail management and sales associates is preferred.
* You must love to work as a team - sharing resources, energy and candidates. No position is too small. No partnership is too little.
* You must have the ability to work across time zones, maintaining flexibility in your approach to meet the needs of boutique level and corporate leaders.
* We use our ATS, social media, digital platforms, and Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) daily - you must be digitally savvy.
* It's human resources - integrity and confidentiality are a must.
