Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA; ADC

Busy Adult Day Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant.

1. Provide all care as assigned within scope of practice for CNAs.

2. Maintains infection control practices, universal precautions, contact precautions, airborne/droplet precautions, and handwashing per facility protocol.

3. Practices the highest level of customer service in dealing with all internal and external customers, and fosters the same all departmental staff and peers as applicable.

4. Assist resident with any and all activities including but not limited to Meals, rehab program and activities.

5. Assists in emergency procedures ie, code E, fire, disaster, and general health care emergencies. as directed.

6. Assists in therapeutic activities as directed by Nursing Department.

7. Observes and reports all findings and/or changes of condition of patients/residents promptly to nurse in charge.

8. Completes required documentation daily.

9. Assist in orientation of new or recently transferred staff

10. Follows code of conduct and ensures resident privacy and is compliant with HIPAA.

11. Will perform other related duties as assigned.

12. Perform duties via Telehealth methods when necessary.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

1.

Education:

High School Degree or equivalent.

2. License/Certification: NYS Certificate as Certified Nurse Assistant.

3. Equipment/Computer Software:
Basic computer/ data entry.

4. Physical/Mental Demands:
Walk long distances, climb stairs, run in an emergency and remain on her / his feet for long durations of time. Bend, squat, push, pull, reach, stretch and lift up to 50lbs.

5. Speak, read and understand English. Hear the spoken word.

6. Spanish speaking desired.
