Position: 2027 Starwood Capital Ventures Summer Analyst

Responsibilities:

Starwood Capital Ventures is seeking an intern with strong analytical skills and an interest in technology-enabled businesses to join our investment team. In this role, you will support the evaluation and execution of venture and growth equity investments across sectors where Starwood's real asset platform can serve as a strategic advantage. The intern will gain exposure across the Firm's global business lines and work closely with senior investment professionals.

* Assisting in managing the structuring, pricing and negotiations of investment transactions and present investment recommendations

* Preparing financial models and internal investment committee materials

* Assist with monitoring portfolio company investments and provide strategic support to their management teams

* Enhancing current business relationships and develop new relationships within Silicon Valley ecosystem

Qualification:

* Passionate about technology companies and venture capital

* Experience in an analytically rigorous role in a high growth start-up, technology company, venture capital, private equity, investment banking or consulting

* Superior analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail;

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to manage and effectively present information

* Collaborative nature with a team-first approach

* Intellectually curious, creative, and a self-starter with proven ability to multi-task

* Strong judgment and decision-making skills

To be considered for the 2027 Summer Internship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

* Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student

* Anticipated graduation date:
Fall 2027 - Spring 2028
