Billing Specialist (Temp-to-Hire)
Compensation
- $70,000–$75,000 (perm salary);
Temp: $35/hr

Key Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist
- Own complete billing process for a dedicated department
- Manage client trusts, billing, collections, and cash application in a centralized ERP (Account Ability)
- Example:
Money is received for client, a management fee is subtracted, remainder stays in client trust to pay high profile clients / support production costs - Coordinate with sales, legal, and finance to ensure accurate agreements and reporting
- Lead preparation and presentation of A/R aging, collections status, and department financials
- Serve as main point of contact for vendor onboarding and payment remittance processes
Must-Have Skills/Experience
- 1–3+ years in billing, collections, or cash applications; direct experience running the full billing cycle
- Industry experience in entertainment, agency, public relations, or law—OR strong transferable skills in related high-volume, multi-stakeholder environments
- Proficiency with Excel (XLOOKUP, pivot tables) and ERP systems
