About the Role

Consult Energy is partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy developer to hire an experienced, data-driven FP&A Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a nimble, entrepreneurial team at the forefront of clean infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will bring advanced financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of both corporate and project-level finance, and familiarity with capital markets. You’ll operate at the intersection of strategic planning, capital raising, and financial execution—playing a critical role in driving the company’s next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis at both the project and corporate levels.
  • Partner with the CFO and Capital Markets team on deal structuring and investor presentations, including M&A and tax equity transactions.
  • Track financial performance versus budget and forecast; identify key trends and business drivers.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and monthly reporting packages for executive stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support project finance underwriting and evaluate capital stack options, including equity, debt, and tax equity.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to evaluate investment decisions, operational initiatives, and strategic planning efforts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Project Development, and Sales Operations to align financial strategy with company goals.
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, project finance, corporate finance, or investment analysis; renewables, infrastructure, or real estate sector experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience with financial tools (Net Suite, Tableau, Salesforce, SQL, etc.).
  • Background in structured finance, asset-backed securities, or capital markets a plus.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred; CFA/CPA/MBA a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex financial insights for non-financial stakeholders.
Preferred Characteristics
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Able to operate autonomously and thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Comfortable working closely with C-level executives, investors, and external financial partners.
  • Experience in companies scaling from $100M+ ARR toward institutional-grade operations is a plus.
