Summary/Objective

The Project Management Intern will support LED display/signage projects by applying foundational engineering concepts acquired through undergraduate education. Under mentorship, the intern will develop basic skills and perform routine technical tasks that do not require prior experience. Responsibilities include understanding project management duties, engaging in client communication with a basic level of proficiency, and applying basic engineering principles to assigned tasks.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• The Project Management Intern will possess foundational engineering concepts acquired through undergraduate-level education.
• They will acquire basic knowledge and develop essential skills through mentored experience.
• The intern will apply learned knowledge and skills to perform assigned tasks effectively.
• They will perform routine technical work that does not require previous experience.
• Additionally, the intern will acknowledge and identify the responsibilities of a project manager.
• They will also engage in client communication with a basic understanding of client needs and expectations.
• Maybe required to obtain OSHA 30 certification.

Competencies

Possesses basic oral and written communication skills

Enrolled in an ABET/ECA accredited bachelor's degree program in engineering or architecture

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not require supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates primarily in an office environment, but some travel to local jobsites may be required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel

This position does not require frequent travel outside of the New York metropolitan area.

Required

Education and Experience

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program in Engineering or Architecture and in good academic standing.
