Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-driven, analytical Estimator to produce accurate, comprehensive cost estimates for complex construction projects. You'll leverage your technical knowledge of building systems and industry best practices to deliver estimates that inform critical decisions and ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop detailed cost estimates, including quantity take-offs, material pricing, labor, and equipment costs.

+ Define and quantify project scope, preparing conceptual, budgetary, and construction-level estimates.

+ Analyze historical data and prepare benchmarking reports to enhance accuracy and consistency.

+ Partner with project managers, design teams, and stakeholders to align estimates with project objectives.

+ Provide clear documentation and rationale to support estimates and recommendations.

Qualifications

+ 4+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction.

+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

+ Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit is a plus.

+ Strong understanding of civil, structural, and architectural systems (steel, concrete, foundations, facades, roofing, elevators).

+ Hands-on take-off experience and knowledge of NYC construction standards.

+ Prior experience with cost consulting firms is highly desirable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
