The Front Desk and Administrative Support role serves as a key liaison between students, tutors, and staff within the Learning Commons, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment for students and staff. This position supports daily operations by managing student flow, assigning students with tutors & academic peer mentors to facilitate an effective and organized workflow, maintaining accurate records, and providing essential administrative assistance that enhances the daily operations of the Learning Commons and student services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Serve as the primary point of contact for students, tutors, and staff at the Learning Commons front desk

* Greets & Assists students, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and direct students to their assigned tutors & academic peer mentors

* Administer the systematic assignment of students to tutors and academic peer mentors, ensuring operational efficiency and fair utilization of personnel.

* Maintain accurate records by logging student attendance and session details in our scheduling system of Trac Cloud

* Organize, and update Learning Commons documentation (Exam Reviews, Attendance Sheets, Test Corrections, Turnaway Tracker, Etc.) to support daily operations and student services

* Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed

* Assist with maintaining an organized, welcoming, and professional Learning Commons environment

Must have Federal Work Study through the university
