Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.
Responsibilities
* Teach a minimum of one undergraduate level course
* Prepare course materials such as syllabi homework assignments and handouts
* Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data
* Support students' learning goals by:
* Focusing on student learning outcomes
* Taking into account the needs and abilities of the students
* Becoming familiar with academic and social support
* Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences
* Maintaining the academic integrity of the University
* Being available to assist student in achieving their learning goals
Qualifications
* Doctoral degree preferred (or an equivalent of highest attainable degree)
• Previous collegiate teaching experience
Maximum Salary
USD $4,000.00/Course
Minimum Salary
USD $3,500.00/Course
