We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in New York starting Apr 6, 2026. This opportunity involves in-house call coverage for sporadic shifts, including nights (15-hour), weekends (24-hour), and occasional weekday 24-hour coverage. Sporadic shifts; generally nights (5pm-8am, 15 hours), weekends (8am-8am, 24 hours), some weekday 24-hour coverage (typically Wednesdays), flexible scheduling options
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide in-house call coverage for labor and delivery
- Manage labor floor cases, including overseeing approximately 700-750 deliveries per year
- Respond to level 1 trauma cases as needed
- Collaborate with a second physician on the floor for patient care
- Support NICU and coordinate with neonatal care teams
- Ensure high standards of patient safety and care during assigned shifts
Additional Information
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Active New York medical license required

- Experience with high-volume deliveries and NICU preferred
