The Role:

The Tequila Syndicate is seeking an entrepreneurial and creative Director of Experiences to lead our New York-based events. You will be the primary producer responsible for conceiving and executing our portfolio of one-of-a-kind, luxury nomadic experiences. While supported by the TS core team, you will have the autonomy to build and manage a small production team as needed, starting with hiring an assistant to support your execution of the TS vision.

• Full-Cycle NY Production:
  Manage the entire event lifecycle for all New York-based events, from concept to execution, including project management, budgeting, and run-of-show.
• Team Building:
  As the department lead, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing a production assistant or coordinator.
• Venue Scouting (NY):
  Discover and secure unique, non-traditional, and exclusive venues within the New York area that align with the TS "nomadic luxury" ethos.
• Experience Curation:
  Oversee all creative and logistical elements, including:
  • Atmosphere:
    Define and execute the event's aesthetic, including design, decor, and fashion direction.
  • People:
    Manage all high-touch guest list communications and on-site VIP hosting.
  • Logistics:
    Source and manage all local vendors and technical production.

• A Proven NY Producer:
  You have 7+ years of proven experience in high-end experiential production, luxury hospitality, or fashion events, with a deep network in New York City.
• A Builder:
  You are an entrepreneurial leader who can work autonomously and build a small team from scratch.
• The Ultimate Curator:
  You have an impeccable eye for detail, a deep understanding of the luxury market, and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality to ensure perfect execution.
