Responsibilities as the Assistant Project Manager:
- Project Coordination: Assist the Project Manager with all phases of development, including preconstruction, construction, and project closeout.
- Documentation: Organize and maintain construction logs, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project-related documents.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, including architects, consultants, and contractors.
- Quality Oversight: Ensure on-site work meets design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Budget & Scheduling: Support budgeting, bid preparation, and scheduling to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Technical Skills: Utilize construction software and tools for tracking, document review, takeoffs, and data analysis.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role, ideally within residential construction or development.
- Skills: Proficiency in project management tools, construction software, and Excel; strong knowledge of building processes and regulations.
- Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: OSHA-10 required; OSHA-30 preferred.
