They should possess strong communication skills, be confident in independently managing routines, and have a gentle yet upbeat presence. A love for children's creativity, an openness to travel, and the ability to adapt are must-haves.

Role Overview

• Position Title: Live-In Weekend Nanny
• Location: Based in Soho, NYC, with frequent travel to the Hamptons, upstate NY
• Schedule: Fridays (variable start), Saturdays, and Sundays through early evening
• Type: Part-time, live-in (weekends only)
• Start Date: ASAP

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide sole-charge morning care for the preschooler, allowing parents to sleep in
• Assist with daily transitions (e.g., getting ready for outings, changing for bedtime)
• Support bedtime routines when parents have evening plans
• Light meal prep (soft-boiled eggs, pasta, snacks)
• Engage with creative, hands-on, screen-free play and projects (arts, crafts, pretend play)
• Maintain a calm and helpful presence during weekends-no expectation to take full-day solo care, as the family is very present and hands-on

Schedule & Flexibility

• Typical Weekend Hours: Friday evening through Sunday evening (approx. 25-26 hrs/weekend)
• Flexibility Required: Some weekends may begin Friday morning, especially for travel to the Hamptons or upstate NY; other weekends may be fully off but still paid
• Travel: Occasional domestic and international weekend travel
• Overnights: Included; private guest room with en-suite bathroom and TV provided
