Our client, an esteemed institution in the higher education sector, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant (P/T)-Higher Education to join their dynamic team. As an Administrative Assistant (P/T)-Higher Education, you will be an integral part of the administrative support team, assisting with various operational tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of academic programs and student services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative spirit, aligning successfully with the organization's mission to foster an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

Pay Range:$25-$30hr
What's the Job?
- Maintain and update various spreadsheets related to course and faculty information
- Monitor and respond to emails, answer phones, and manage student and faculty files
- Support admissions and student registration processes in Albert SIS, including drop/adds, reminders, and grade entry
- Prepare and submit payroll appointment forms, draft and send appointment letters
- Assist in organizing committee meetings, student orientations, and other departmental events, including sending agendas, tracking RSVPs, and coordinating catering
- Proficiency with iBuy, Albert SIS, Excel, and Google applications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Ability to work flexibly, including some evening events
- Previous experience supporting academic administrative functions
