Accounts Payable Accountant

A well-established, high-level real estate family office with a strong NYC presence is seeking an Accountant focused on Accounts Payable to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, professional environment with significant exposure to senior leadership, including the Controller and CFO. The firm emphasizes mentorship, long-term growth, and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable

• Assist with cash management and bank reconciliations

• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close

• Assist with internal financial reporting

• Provide audit support as needed

• Work closely with senior accountants, the Controller, and CFO on accounting initiatives

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on accounts payable and general accounting

• Technically savvy and comfortable learning new systems

• Ambitious, intellectually curious, and eager to grow within a professional environment

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
