The Opportunity

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll support daily accounting operations and play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records. You’ll be responsible for cash reporting, reconciliations, and assisting with budgeting and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, adaptable to new systems, and committed to delivering precise financial data that supports organizational decision-making.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare daily cash balance reports and complete monthly bank reconciliations
  • Execute cash transfers and ensure proper funding of accounts
  • Assist in maintaining budgets and forecasting cash flow needs
  • Support preparation and review of financial statements
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold accounting best practices
  • Utilize Quick Books for daily accounting tasks and adapt quickly to new software systems
  • Apply advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF formulas, and pivot tables, to analyze and report financial data
  • Collaborate with the finance team on special projects and process improvements
Required Experience and Skills
  • Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables)
  • Experience with Quick Books or similar accounting software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
