Position SummaryThe asphalt plant operator repairs and maintains the electrical and mechanical components of a hot mix asphalt plant and operates the plant to produce high‑quality hot mix asphalt. This position reports to the asphalt plant foreperson and is essential to the plant team. The role is full‑time, seasonal (April through November, weather permitting), and requires overtime and some Saturdays. Local and regional travel may be required.

Qualifications- Mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred.
- Great candidates include:
- Heavy‑Duty Mechanic/Fabricator
- Welding experience
- Electricians with control experience
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions.
- Ability to listen, take direction, be a team player, and help train less experienced employees.
