As a  
** Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Driver
** in  
** Murray Hill, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading Tech and Media location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. This is a driving post, so you will operate company vehicles as part of your patrol duties.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.

+ Document and report incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to site protocols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required by site procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
