Overview
We are seeking an Associate Attorney 4-7 Years Experience to become a part of our growing team. Taylor Law Group works with a wide variety of public and private entities. We are seeking 2 associates with experience in areas of labor, employment, governance, land use and litigation. Familiarity with and interest in public sector is a plus.
Responsibilities- Working alongside Partners on all aspects of practice including litigation, arbitration, and other hearings
- Preparing pleadings and other court related documents
- Drafting and revising ordinances
- Preparing and analyzing contract proposals for union negotiations
- Researching and analyzing case law
- Conducting workplace investigations and preparing reports
- Attending union negotiations and school board meetings
- Tracking own billable hours
- Previous experience in law
- Familiarity with various legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- JD Degree from an ABA Accredited law school
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar
