As Radiology Technologist
, you will:
complete xrays as well as function in some medical assistant activities between patients. This could include:
- Vital signs
- Collecting data on Allergies, Medications and NPO status
- Screen patients for metal
- Point of Care – urine pregnancy and creatinine
- Being regulatory ready – perform environment of care sweeps
- Help manage supplies
- Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of these images for the treatment of patients
- Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety established by Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies
- Demonstrates analytical skills required for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels
- Practical knowledge of various DR fixed and portable imaging equipment as well as computer skills including PACS and RIS.
- Performs patient care task under direction of RN as competency designates
- Satisfactory completion of Radiography program from an AMA accredited Radiography program
- Florida State Radiography License
- ARRT registered
- Current Basic Life Support, AHA
Location: Tampa, FL
Shift: Day Shift (Monday - Friday); 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM;
No weekend work or call required.
Status : Full-Time (36 hours per week).
*** Looking for an experienced rad tech, as this person is the only rad tech on site.
Salary Range: Minimum 24.95/hour - Maximum 39.92/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
