Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Sports Bar as an extension of the salaried management team.
  • Directly supervise approximately 40 team members, holding them accountable to job duties and overall performance.
  • Provide feedback to management for building team member schedules.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company standards and policies, including federal, state, and local laws.
  • Manage and follow up on tasks vital to the sports bar’s operation.
  • Maintain compliance with beer and liquor licensing, work authorization, and wage and hour laws.
  • Emphasize safety, sanitation, and security; ensure all team members are properly trained.
  • Conduct daily line and equipment checks and maintain restaurant cleanliness to meet Health Department and corporate audit standards.
  • Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure proper food handling to prevent cross‑contamination and improper storage.
  • Resolve escalated conflicts or guest complaints and communicate with management.
  • Follow company cash handling and payment processing procedures.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
  • Optimize store profit by managing labor and cost of goods/inventory.
  • Provide clear, respectful, and constructive feedback to team members.
  • Exercise sound judgment and professional decision‐making to prevent or diffuse risks.
  • Drive sales through community involvement, outreach, discounts, and fundraising.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for overall operation and performance of the sports bar.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Passion for people and sports.
  • Minimum age 21 years.
  • Successfully completed background check.
  • Minimum one year experience in restaurant management or supervision, preferably in a high‑volume, full‑service setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable source of transportation.
  • Serv Safe certification recommended.
  • Proficient understanding of food allergens.
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handler Card.
  • Experience with cleaning chemicals, heat and A/C units, and walk‑in freezers.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated to achieve superior results as a self‑starter with strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary company and team member information.
  • Maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Personable, friendly, and able to communicate with guests.
  • Excellent customer service and guest satisfaction delivery.
  • Knowledge of basic math functions and currency calculations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; work independently and with others.
  • Open to direction and constructive feedback.
  • Computer proficiency (Windows programs, calculator, copier, printer, cash drawer, POS touchscreen, food products, cooking equipment).
  • Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and lift overhead frequently.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and high intensity while standing for extended periods.
