Role Overview - Back of House Team Member

Our kitchen is the heart of our restaurant. While you'll work directly for an independent Owner/Operator, you'll also gain life and workplace skills that go far beyond preparing great food. Back of House Team Members help ensure every guest receives the fresh, high-quality meals and signature care that make Chick-fil-A special. You'll be part of a supportive team, learn our systems, and contribute to serving our community with excellence every day.

Full-time and Part-time

Shift Leader

Availability Requirements

* Full-Time: 35-45 hours/week, at least 4 opens/closes per week

* Part-Time: 15-25 hours/week, at least 3 opens/closes per week

* Shift Windows:
Day 5 AM-5 PM | Night 2 PM-11 PM

* Flexibility:
Schedules may vary to support the team during peak times

* Compliance:
All schedules follow labor laws for minors

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards

* Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep

* Stock kitchen inventory as needed

* Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times

* Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A

* Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership

* Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes

* Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned

* Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times

* Other duties as assigned
