Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced F/A-18 Support Equipment Technician to support the USN F/A-18 program located in NAS JRB New Orleans.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lead Technician in daily tasks and accomplishments
• Maintain systems by replacing, repairing, or upgrading components
• Troubleshoot to identify faulty components
• Conduct functional tests using appropriate equipment
• Perform visual inspections as per maintenance documents
• Document maintenance and inspection actions
• Create and manage maintenance, calibration, and inventory records
• Work under general supervision with minimal direction

This position is 100% onsite at NAS JRB New Orleans. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). An active clearance within the past 24 months is acceptable.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment
• Experience leading a team, formally or informally
• Ability to support a 24/7 on-call environment
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%, sometimes on short notice

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Automotive servicing experience with electrical, hydraulic, and internal combustion engines
• 3+ years maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment

Education/Experience: Typically a high school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.

Pay Rate Range:

• Min: $30.68/hour
• Max: $35.24/hour
