37 hours pw. Some out of hours working will be required eg. attending Remembrance Sunday event and Committee Meetings

To lead the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality estates and facilities operations across New Milton Town Council’s diverse portfolio. This role ensures the proactive management, maintenance, and compliance of all council-owned assets, supporting vibrant public spaces and community wellbeing.

• To lead the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality estates and facilities operations across New Milton Town Council’s diverse portfolio. This role ensures the proactive management, maintenance, and compliance of all council-owned assets, supporting vibrant public spaces and community wellbeing.
• Other key responsibilities include careful management of budgets, management reporting to Council Committees, whilst continuing to develop, implement and improve the overall operations of the council’s activities.

• The ability to motivate, influence and guide others towards successful outcomes, with experience of leading a multi-skill team.
• The successful candidate will need strong communication and relationship management skills, confidently dealing with contractors, suppliers, leaseholders and a wide range of community stakeholders.
• Your hands‑on approach will ensure that we have a strong team who respond and adapt to dynamic situations and environments, whilst maintaining the required high standards of service.
• Those high standards will be driven by your passion for green and open spaces and the vision to inspire civic pride.
