Quantity Surveyor New Milton, Hampshire Salary up to £75,000  Car Allowance  25 days Holiday  Pension Blaymires Recruitment is representing a well-established, family-run house builder with nearly 50 years of experience delivering high-quality new homes across Dorset and Hampshire. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a respected regional developer known for quality, stability, and a strong reputation within the industry.

Role Overview You will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of their projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring value for money while maintaining our high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage cost plans, estimates and budgets for residential developments. Monitor and control project costs, including subcontractors, materials and site preliminaries. Produce regular cost reports, forecasts and valuation assessments. Review contract documentation and manage procurement processes. Liaise with site and construction teams to evaluate variations and cost implications. Support project teams with commercial advice and risk management. Assist in post-completion cost analysis and closure activities.

Who Were Looking For Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within house building or residential development. Strong understanding of construction procurement methods and contract administration. Excellent analytical and financial management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Familiarity with industry software and Microsoft Office suite.
