Georgia-Pacific is looking for safety-oriented individuals to join our team as Machine Operator in Milford, NJ.
Salary- $23.50 per hour
- 2nd shift differential is $1.50 per hour
- Ability to increase compensation based on skills and performance
- Eligible for Performance Pay program up to 6% quarterly bonus
- Currently hiring for 2nd shift
- Only candidates who are available to work this shift will be considered
- May include overtime, holidays, and weekends
- Orientation on 1st shift (7am–3pm); permanent shift assigned around 30 days later
- Milford operates on a point‑based attendance program
- 1st shift:
Monday – Friday 7am–3pm; weekends and overtime as needed - 2nd shift:
Monday – Friday 3pm–11pm; weekends and overtime as needed - 3rd shift:
Monday – Friday 11pm–7am; weekends and overtime as needed

We are located directly across the Delaware River from Riegelsville, PA, in a picturesque countryside. We are just 20 minutes from Easton, PA; 20 minutes from Phillipsburg, NJ; 20 minutes from Quakertown, PA; 25 minutes from Bethlehem, PA; and 30 minutes from Doylestown, PA.
What You Will Do- Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
- Monitor and enter data into computer control systems
- Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
- Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of work area
- Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
- Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
- 6+ months experience operating production machinery
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including design, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
- 1 year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
- Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours a day in a loud/noisy, industrial, high-volume environment
