This is a full-time, on-site role for a Loan Officer based in New Milford, CT. The Loan Officer will be responsible for managing the loan origination process, assessing client eligibility, and providing thorough guidance to clients about available loan options. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating financial information, collaborating with underwriters, preparing loan applications, and delivering exceptional customer service to address client inquiries effectively.

The Loan Officer will ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain strong relationships with both clients and third-party providers.

• Proficiency in loan origination and thorough understanding of the loan application process
• Strong knowledge of underwriting and general financial principles
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for addressing client needs
• Experience in the financial services or mortgage industry, particularly in roles involving loan officers
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines in the mortgage industry
• Ability to work on-site in New Milford, CT and collaborate with a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
