Tour Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan logistics for group tours, daily offerings, school groups, etc.
• Lead the tours offered at Ghost Ranch.
• Recruit, train, and schedule Tour Guides.
• Provide coaching and feedback for Tour Guides. Uphold tour quality.
• Handle email queries, correspondence, cancellations, and refunds.
• Prepare monthly income reports, monitor budget, and keep accurate records.

• Coordinate logistics with groups of varying sizes, including over 50 people. This includes booking tours via an online booking system and troubleshooting individualized needs.
• Drive a 14-passenger bus or a 10-passenger van while narrating the tour.
• Maintain tour vehicles.
• Partner with the Director of Experiences to explore new revenue opportunities.

• Ideal candidate has experience as a Tour Guide and Tour Scheduler, plus knowledge of Georgia O’Keeffe and 20th-century modern art.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fit enough to lead walking tours on rugged terrain in all kinds of weather.
• Strong planning skills to schedule seasonal tours and staffing.
• Valid driver's license.
