Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks Maintenance Technicians (HVAC Technician, Plumber, Electrician, Low Voltage Electrician, or Carpenter) to join our Facilities Team at Starfire Optical Range, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico supporting the USAF Space Domain Awareness program. To meet security standards and protocols, all work is performed onsite at Kirtland AFT, NM. Starfire Optical Range is a world class research facility with recognized achievements in adaptive optics, enabled by the quality, enthusiasm, and dedication of our entire team.

• Perform maintenance, renovations, and construction on multiple research and development facilities including labs and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems concerning building and utility systems.

• 3+ years of experience in construction working on building systems in a commercial and industrial environment.
• Experience working with building codes and commercial construction, interpreting highly complex drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Journeyman license in HVAC Technician, Plumber, Electrician, Low Voltage Electrician, OR Carpenter.
• Experience using hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair facilities and equipment.
• Willingness to work variable shifts including nights and weekends.

• Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance.

This position is for variable shift. Occasional night work to integrate, test, and troubleshoot fielded systems will be needed.

Summary pay range for Experienced (level

C): $62,050 - $83,950. Summary pay range for Lead (level

D): $73,950 - $100,050. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
