Maintenance Mechanic - $17.00/HOUR

A company in Santa Teresa needs a Maintenance Mechanic. The Maintenance Mechanic installs, repairs, and maintains complex machinery, focusing on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, fixing breakdowns, using diagnostic tools, reading technical manuals, ensuring safety compliance, and keeping detailed records to minimize downtime and improve efficiency in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

? Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

? Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

? Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

? Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.

? Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

? Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

? Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

? Performing other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or department manager

? Inspect heave machinery(e.g Material handler, excavator, loaders, dump trucks forklift) to detect and diagnose malfunctions.

? Perform major and minor repairs on engines (diesel and gasoline), transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, and other heavy equipment components.

? Disassemble, repair, and reassemble large equipment and their components.

? Conduct through testing of repaired equipment to verify proper operation and safety compliance.
