Job Description:
- The Site Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring quality assurance and quality control compliance across construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
- This role serves as the key liaison between Project Quality Managers and site teams, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and project quality plans within EPC, Power, or Energy industry environments.
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Process Management/System for Construction, Installation, and Commissioning.
- Experience with in EPC, Power, or Energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction codes and standards.
- Experience coordinating inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Proficiency in completion systems and strong computer skills.
- Experience managing non-conformances and reporting cost of poor quality.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Quality Assurance And Compliance:
- Act as liaison with Project Quality Managers.
- Review and interpret contractual and local regulations applicable to site quality.
- Ensure Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and erection documentation are in place prior to activity commencement.
- Evaluate Contractor Quality Plans to ensure alignment with Project Quality Plans and customer specifications.
- Verify inspections and testing during erection and commissioning are conducted and documented per approved ITP sequences.
- Oversee preparation, compilation, and submission of final quality documentation to customers, third parties, and regulatory authorities.
- Track site completion systems, inspection status, certifications, and outstanding punch list items.
- Verify calibration and certification compliance of all testing and measurement equipment.
- Assess overall site quality performance.
- Identify, report, and manage non-conformances.
- Ensure reporting and monitoring of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Proven experience in change management within large, complex organizations.
- Experience managing internal quality-related projects or programs.
- Demonstrated coordination of inspections, testing, and commissioning documentation.
- Experience working with regulatory authorities and third-party inspectors.
- High level of rigor, precision, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Results-driven and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong listening skills and collaborative approach.
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
- 5+ years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction and commissioning environments required.
