Volt is immediately hiring for Welder - 2nd Shift in Albuquerque, NM
As a Welder you will:
- Able to accomplish flat and horizontal welding tasks related to production requirements.
- Ability to use a handheld plasma cutter and handheld grinder, manual flame cutting torch, and cranes.
- Utilizes bridge cranes to position parts and assemblies during production
- Exchanges empty cylinders of oxygen, shielding gas, and fuel gas for full cylinders using a hand truck/dolly.
- Utilize the following welding processes Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW).
- Assist Machine Operators or Laborers, as deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 years of welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual. Basic knowledge of learning ability and numeral ability.
- Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Must be able to perform work to required tolerances.
- Must have the skill required to pass welding test: AWS 1.1 position 3G with E71-T1 electrode GMAW Process
- High school diploma or GED
Schedule:
Monday Friday, 2:30pm-1:00am
Location:
Albuquerque, NM
Duration: 4 Months contract.
Pay Rate: $18 to $22 per hour
